  1. How Technology Has Changed Our Jobs World today is no longer the same it used to be twenty years back. Things have drastically changed. Majority of these changes are in world of technology. Technology that we use is very different from technology that our parents used and technology that our grandparents has access to. Similar to the technology, there have been vast changes in the types of jobs. The jobs that have been created today never existed a decade back. This article list some of the new areas that not even existed few years back and are now responsible for the growth of entire global economy: 1.Data Scientist: One of the most sought after job today is of a data scientist. However, this field did not exist even a few years back. There was not enough data in 2000s to have a well-defined role of a data scientist. Now there is an entire field of data science. Various roles that are highly in demand are that of data analyst, data engineer, data scientist, statistician, and many more. 2.Software engineer: While this job did exist in 90s, however, it was not as common as it is now. The programming languages used today were definitely not used in 1990s. Additionally, the field has become much more advanced than what it used to be in early 1990s. The open source nature of the field has given everyone an opportunity to become a self-starter and develop innovative products. 3.Artificial Intelligence: This is one another field which has been created very recently. Artificial intelligence has given us great gifts such as voice recognition, speech recognition, Natural processing and much more. Some of the examples are google voice, Siri, Alexa, and much more. AI is one of the most in demand 4.Cloud Computing: There was no existence of clouds in 1990s/early 2000s. Now the world does not seem to be possible without a cloud. Cloud computing has changed the way we used to work since long time. The biggest giants such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Google offer cloud services and create hundreds of cloud computing jobs annually.

  2. 5.Search Engine Optimization/Digital Marketing: In early 90s, there was no google. Now there are jobs for ranking on google. Similarly, now there are jobs of animators building animated advertisements, logos and other promotional graphic content now. In addition to the above newly created jobs, technology has changed has changed the way jobs are being done since long time. A legal-council job involved a lot of paper work and studying large files. However, now everything is computerized and a large chunk of the job is automated. Similarly, stock market trading which was all done on papers back then, is now carried algorithmically and on highly complicated software. These are just few examples. As we all must agree, things have definitely changed a lot over the last few years.
