Introduction to Radiographic Testing: - Overview of radiographic testing principles. - Basic concepts of X-ray and gamma-ray radiation. - Types of radiographic testing methods. 2. Radiographic Equipment: - Understanding and operating radiographic testing equipment. - Types of X-ray machines and gamma-ray sources. - Calibration procedures for radiographic equipment. 3. Radiographic Techniques: - Film radiography and techniques. - Selection of exposure factors and techniques. Contact and projection radiography methods. 4. Radiographic Film and Processing: - Types of radiographic films and their properties. - Film processing techniques and procedures. Quality control in film processing. 5. Radiographic Image Quality: - Factors influencing radiographic image quality. - Radiographic sensitivity and resolution. Evaluation of radiographic images. 6. Radiographic Testing of Welds and Materials: - Application of radiographic testing in the inspection of welds. - Inspection of various materials, including metals and composites.
