  1. Tips to Hit a Sand Bunker Shot Successfully Bunker shots can be extra tricky because there are a lot of ways that you can go about hitting it, but here we stick to the basics with no tricks or unorthodox technique.

  2. Introduction Golf can put some of the best players in uncomfortable situations at any given time. One of these conditions consists of the dreaded sand bunker shot. Nothing can be more infuriating then when you see your golf ball gracefully soar high into the sky as you watch it spin into the air and then…plomp!

  3. #Tip 1: Approach Bunker Shot with the Right Attitude Outside of fear for the sand bunker shot, the biggest issue involved is the stance of the golfer. The majority of the players will position their stance too wide. Golfers who attempt to forcefully drill the ball often lead to a fat shot in the bunker. Next time, try focusing on getting the ball back on the green.

  4. #Tip 2: Access the Golf Shot The key to every great golf shot is the planning and strategy they take before every swing they swing. When you are in front of a bunker shot, you need to take time doing this. Don’t rush it and don’t over think it, it can be a very complicated process but if you focus and imagine your shot before-hand, your chances of having a successful shot that hits near the green are much higher..

  5. #Tip 3: Line up and set your feet One of the most essential parts of your entire golf game is your stance. Make sure you are comfortable in your stance, especially when you are faced with the daunted bunker shot. Getting a firm grip on this will help you avoid slipping or sliding on the sand, which is very common.

  6. #Tip 4: Take just Right Amount of Sand with you This is where the shot becomes the most difficult. Using your sand wedge is the right choice, but swinging a club with that high angle requires you to hit the ball just right. But to do this, you have to get through the sand that has engulfed it.

  7. #Tip 5: Utilize the Half Back Swing Place your hands evenly and take a half back swing. In the process of this swing you will want to make sure you rotate your shoulders. If this feels familiar to a pitch shot, you’re right. The only difference is the sand involved.

  8. Follow these golf instructions and you will no doubt go from an amateur golfer to a sand bunker master. • For more Information related to Golf Swing Improvement tips and instructions visit our website. • Website: www.golfswingrightnow.com • Email ID: info@golfswingrightnow.com • Contact: 1800665024
