  1. A Guide to Untangling Necklaces Learning to untangle a necklace is a useful skill to have. Not only is it easier to wear, but it can save you from the frustration of a knotted necklace. Fortunately, there are a few simple methods that you can use. These include using a sewing needle, safety pin, or thumbtack. Insert the needle into the middle of the knot and gently pull them out. Then, you can gently separate the threads inside the chain. The first thing to do is find a flat surface to work on. Then, turn on an overhead light to see where the knots are. Spread the knotted parts of the chain apart with a knife, and unclasp them. If you have two or more necklaces, cut the straw to a reasonable length. For long necklaces, you can simply use your hands to pull apart the knots. Once you've decided to take action, you can begin by locating your knotted necklace. First, choose a clear surface. A good background is either white or black. If the light is too bright, you can use a magnifying glass. Once you've located the knots, you can start untangling the chain. Make sure to use two or three pins to hold the necklace and avoid causing any damage. Next, you need to use a small tool to loosen the knots. You can try a screwdriver, but be careful to not get the sharp head on the chain. Then, you can use a thumbtack or safety pin. When you've untangled the knots, you can start pulling them out one by one. Once you've done this, you can repeat the procedure by spreading out the chain. If you're unable to untangle a necklace yourself, you can visit a jewelry store and pay for their services. Generally, jewelers have special tools that are designed to help you untangle chains. They may charge a small fee for their services, but it will be worth it in the long run. Once you've uncovered the knot, you can begin untangling the rest of the necklace. Once you've uncovered the knots, you need to use a flat surface to place the necklace on. The surface should be sturdy and allow you to see the entire necklace. This will allow you to examine the knots and find out which ones you need to remove. It's also a good idea to have a magnifying glass on hand when untangling a necklace. This way, you can easily look at the various parts of the chain and see whether or not they need to be separated by the fasteners. If you're having trouble untangling a necklace, you can pick it apart first. You can use a sewing needle or a safety pin to untangle a necklace. Be sure to put oil on your hands when you're trying to untangle a necklace, as this can make it even more slippery and difficult to use. Then, you can try a few different methods to help yourself get the necklace out of a knot.
