  2. INTRODUCTION Machine learning is essentially algorithms and a part of Data Science. Along with machine learning algorithms, it even includes artificial intelligence techniques, statistics, mathematics, recommender systems, programming, and business intelligence. 

  3. Machine learning deals with different cognitive methods and algorithms in order to drive meaning from the mixed data repository, which means it is basically a tool to extract relevant information from the big data reserves as well as a sub-set of various big data techniques.

  4. It concerns with implementation of methods that allow the computer to learn from the data automatically. These data can generally be big data as there is certainly a lot to discover in this particular data. For instance, google big data services utilize machine learning in their processes.

  5. Big data is essentially the same data with huge volume, velocity, and variety. Basically, data science and machine learning techniques are actually applied to data, either it is small or big data. However, in the case of big data, a special type of big data technologies are utilized for storage, processing, management, and analysis.
