  2. Doctors On-Line • www.meddoctor.com allows patients to type in their location and it will find a doctor in your area. • www.ama-assn.org is the American Medical Association website that will help patients find a credited doctor and give information current medical news.

On-Line Doctors • http://www.medhelp.org/ offers forums where patients can ask questions to physicians and patient-to-patient chats. • www.askphysicians.com provides current, easily understood answers about medical questions. • www.webmd.com is the most popular and offers advice from doctors and the latest health news.

WebMD.com • WebMD has a health link that has information about staying healthy to living with a disease. • A person can speak with a physician on-line. • Health Teacher is a link that gives health education curriculum for K-12. • Health TV is a link for all health related channels and programs. • My Health Record allows members to keep all of their health information in an easy to use file on-line.

  5. WebMD Financials • Since 1998 WebMD has began to increase their financial situation yearly. • December 2001 had total equity of $8101.90 and 356.1 million shares outstanding. • WebMd is currently trading on the Nasdaq as HLTH.

Information for Health Care Professionals On-Line • www.internetmedicine.com is a website to help doctors find information on-line and keep up with the latest technology trends. • www-sci.lib.uci.edu/HSG/Nursing.html is a virtual nursing center that has information for nurses including a medical dictionary, nursing journals, and medical literature. • www.docguide.com has information on medical news, new drugs, all medical resources, and all medical cases.
