A prayer for schools in the Diocese of Southwark God our Loving Father Pour out on us afresh the gifts of your Holy Spirit Open our ears to hear your Word, open our eyes to hear your presence, open our minds to understand your Wisdom and open our hearts to be more available for your mission So that strengthened by your grace we can truly be a sign and instrument of your presence in our world today. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

  3. Shape of the evening • Headteacher talk 35 mins – a review of the year and our plans for this year • Mrs O Byrne talk -15 mins – What is SEAL? • A chance to look at some of our new building works (optional) • Close by 8.15 pm

  4. Review of Past Year • Foundation Stage • Continuing very successful outcomes – most children attaining significantly above national averages - • Learners in the Foundation stage are happy, enjoy coming to school and are well supported by strong home-school relationships.

  17. Our Ethos…what does this mean? • Everything we do is premised on our shared faith – Gospel values • Awe and wonder – which leads back to Our Lord • The concept of redemption – every child has the right to thrive • This cannot be achieved without you, our parents

  18. Final Message We aim to be a community permeated by faith in Jesus Christ, which recognizes, celebrates and raises awareness of the richness of other cultures and faiths. We will foster knowledge, skills and the talents of each child, in order to develop excellence across the whole curriculum. Self-discipline, courtesy, good manners, and, especially, respect, concern and care for others will be greatly valued. We will encourage respect and care of God’s World, our environment.
