Bars & Restaurants (includes service patios) Public indoor spaces Private Clubs (VFW, Eagles, Moose…) Private worksites Public worksites Stores selling tobacco Hotel: rooms and hotel common areas Mechanics shops Places where Bingo Games are held Employee Smoking Rooms Private Offices Private homes with one or more non-family employee Anyplace other than a home that has one or more employee or volunteer Who is Going Smoke-free?

  5. Create a written policy that creates all indoor space as smoke-free by 5/1/2010 Remove all indoor ashtrays Post Smoke-Free Signs Offer smoke-free help to only those that want it. In Ingham County: (517) 887-4315 Have a process for violations by employees and visitors Think through where smokers SHOULD go to smoke. A coffee can with sand outside at a picnic table or outside a service-entrance is most common. Outline a complaint process in your policy How to Become Smoke-free
