Labels: Rohit Bal Stores: Flagship store in Delhi & others in Mumbai Ahmedabad , Bangalore, Chennai & Kolkatta Weaves for: Both Men & Women Awards : IFA Designer of the Year in 2001 and 2004'Designer of the Year' award at the Indian Fashion Awards in 2006 International Clientele : Uma Thurman, Cindy,Pamela Anderson, Naomi Campbell and Anna Kournikova Brand Ambassador of : Omega Watches & Khaadi Gram Udyog Shows in : New York, London, Dubai, Singapore and Paris, including Paris Fashion Week

He did a course from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi Started working in Export House with his brother in 1986 In 1990 , he introduced his traditional line of garments for men Started weavings for Men & Women Came up with the fashion element in credit card by design Platinum Card for ABN Amro Known as Bad boy of Fashion Industry is also nick named Gudda for those who known him personally Designed Bridal wear for Arun Nayyar & Liz Hurely’s wedding Designed for A R Rehman for Oscar night for receiving BAFTA for Slumdog Millionaire

  4. Milestones : A dedicated space at the prestigious store Saks Fifth Avenue in Dubai. Rohit Bal also launched his first restaurant “Veda” in New Delhi in 2005. Conde Nast Traveler included the space in its Top 100 restaurants in the World in 2006. A high value collaboration with the Conran Store and other lifestyle stores such as Mumbai Se and Crate and Barrel. A partnership with Nebula-Titan watches, 1st collection in 2005 , 2nd on the theme of Kalgi, in 2006. A creative partnership with International shoe designer, Christian Loubation. A presence at London Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2007-2008.

Milestones : Rohit has also ventured into the designing jewellery for Kirtilals Rohit Bal also plans to design and launch men's fashion accessories like cufflinks A high value collaboration with the Conran Store and other lifestyle stores such as Mumbai Se and Crate and Barrel. Innovation : • In 2003, he made a line of skirts for men, sending out male models in swishing skirts and sindoor in their hair parting • - In 2006, a year when Mumbai’s Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla claimed they were deigning to participate in the fashion week and then showed a pretty all white collection, Gudda did an all-white show too with the Kill Bill whistle as the theme music and overshadowed everything in the fashion week.

Awards : ‘Glory of India Award’ at a seminar, “Indo-Thai Economic Co-operation” ‘India’s master of fabric and fantasy’ by  Time magazine in 1996 Best Menswear Designer at the inaugural India Fashion Awards IFA Designer of the Year 2001 and 2004 Shiromani Award Best Designer of the Year 2001 by Kingfisher Fashion Achievement Awards 'Designer of the Year' award at the Indian Fashion Awards in 2006

Shows & Clientele : Shows : New York, London, Dubai, Singapore and Paris, including Paris Fashion Week His shows are mostly sponsored by The Swatch Group Clientele: Uma Thurman, Cindy Crawford, Pamela Anderson, Naomi Campbell and Anna Kournikova International Domestic Shows : In all major metros across India like Delhi , Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkatta , Bangalore & Ahmedabad Clientele: All major big shots and Film industry crowd like John Abrahim , Priyanka Chopra , Bipasha Basu, A R Rehman and many more
