Fit pipework to Kedco Boiler as shown in diagram Fit a Mixing Valve and Temperature Gauges to all Kedco Boilers (No Exceptions.) This allows Kedco boilers to operate to their full capacity without condensation appearing in the boiler. No more than 5 degrees difference in temperature between Flow (Out) and Return (In) to the boiler is acceptable. Always allow a slight fall in the flue away from the Kedco Boiler (10mm in every meter.) (No Exceptions) This prevents condensation formed in the flue, returning to the boiler. A flue stabiliser has to be fitted to the boiler (Inside boiler house (No Exceptions)). The flue has to end 1 metre above the ridge to the roof it is being fitted to. (No Exceptions)? It is recommended that an Air Vent is placed above the boiler in the same wall that flue goes through, this is to prevent under pressure around the boiler and will help prevent backdrafts. It is also recommended that all boiler house pipework is insulated to the highest standard. This reduces heat loss and fuel consumption. Kedco Wood Pellet Boilers can operate on open vented or closed sealed heating systems. Kedco recommends a closed system because a higher operating water pressure (1 to 1.5 bar) results in greater efficiency. Room stats and Radiator stats are highly recommended in conjunction with your Kedco wood pellet boiler for even more efficient operation. The above instructions and recommendations will ensure the maximum efficiency of your Kedco Boiler
