    3. Chamblee Magnet School Magnet Program for High Achievers All core classes are accelerated. Classes include: Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and German Grades 7th and 8th 21 students in a class Kittredge Elementary School and Lottery

    6. Magnet Requirements Lottery Eligibility Uses Iowa Test of Basic Skills 75% on Total Reading and Total Math 85% Composite B or better average in core classes Program Selection Process Must be returned by March 24 Lottery Drawing on May 17 Transportation –Starts as early as 5:45 am

    8. Magnet Requirements Program Continuation Requirements 80 numerical average in all core classes No one class can be below a 71 Probation One semester Parent, student, advisory team conference Students closely monitored Students who do not meet requirements by end of semester are exited from the program and returned to their home school.

    20. Chamblee Information Times – 8:50 – 3:50 Dress Code – Follow Dekalb’s Dress Code Mailings – Mailings go out each progress report period. 4 ˝, 9, 14 ˝ weeks each semester plus a summer mailing in July. Bulldog Café – Breakfast - $.90 and Lunch - $1.55 this year
