    8. The GOLDEN RATIO in Music Born 1770 in Bonn, Germany In his late 20s, his hearing began to lapse. (from father's abuse? - head thrashings causing tumor?) When totally deaf, he composed completely in his mind; still conducted On March 26, 1827 (age 56), died in his apartment. More than 20,000 people present at his funeral. In 1888, remains transferred to the Central Cemetery of Vienna.
