Getting started • Download http://sketchup.google.com/
What you can do • Build a 3D model • Walk around your model on a virtual tour • Create an aerial view static floor plans • Or static images of sections of your library • Use the 3D warehouse to add furniture other people built • Design in a style that suits your students
Ideas for using Sketch up • Floor plans for subject areas, zoning or PCs • Demonstrate a process e.g. search, locate and borrow. • Location within a building • A model for possible changes in furniture/layout of a space • Virtual tour
