At the time of their introduction, these models windows were the excellent solutions to the UI issues. It is very helpful in simplifying the UI as well as it can save the screen real estate. Since from them, multiple designers have been adopting these and some of them have taken it to the extreme. They are the today’s version of the dreaded popup window.
