  16. 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

  17. 2It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

  18. 3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

  19. 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are children of the youth.

  20. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

  21. 128:1 Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

  22. 2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

  23. 3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

  24. 4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

  25. 5 The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

  26. 6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
