  1. Different Forms of a Line

  2. Different Forms of a Line Slope-Intercept: y = mx + b Point-Slope: y – y1 = m( x – x1) Standard: Ax + By = C Parameters: m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. Usefulness: Easy to Graph on paper and in calculator. Parameters: m is the slope and (x1, y1) is any point. Usefulness: Quick and easy way to find an equation. Parameters: A, B, and C do not represent anything on their own. Usefulness: With the Cover-Up Method, easy to graph with x and y-intercepts.
