  2. Introduction Hi! Marhaban and kayfahalok? My name is Altynay, for friends is Naya. I am 16. My native town is Uralsk which is in the western part of my country – Kazakhstan. I study at school-lyceum # 35.. As other teens I am keen on fashion, music, movies, cartoons, travelling and, of course, hanging out with my friends. Also it’s a big pleasure for me to meet up with students of Arabian country as I’m fond of Arabian world on the whole!!! That’s why I wrote you Arabic ‘hello and how are you?’. Let’s have fun, swapping our knowledge and experience for yours!;-)

Islam in Kazakhstan Islam in Kazakhstan - one of the most widespread religion among the believers in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as 70% of the country's population is Muslim according to a 2009 national census. Kazakhs are very tolerant in the choice of other religions, they are known by the absence of greater strictness in the observance of ritual and law Sharia. Kazakhs make up over half of the total population, and other ethnic groups of Muslim background including Uzbeks, Uyghurs and Tatars. Islam first arrived to the southern edges of the region in the 8th century from Arabs.

  11. Mosques of Uralsk There are three mosques in Uralsk. They are the Old mosque, the Red mosque in Tatar Sloboda and the Central Oblast mosque.

  12. Mosques of uralsk The old mosque which was established in 1897. The name of the mosque is the old mosque as it is the oldest mosque in ma native town.

  13. Mosques of Uralsk The Red mosque in Tatar Sloboda was built in the 1870s. The architect is unknown. Near the mosque there is building of the former madrasa where  the famous Tatar writer and poet GabdullaTuqay studied in1895-1905 years  (عبدالله توقاي). One of the imams of this mosque was MutygullaTukhvatullin, the teacher of GabdullaTuqay.

  16. The central mosque was built in 2005 year on the day of Ramadan.

  17. The mosque was constructed with the participation of several countries. The majestic dome over the main hall of the mosque built with stained glass windows brought from Italy, the German technology.  Carpets, covered almost all the rooms, were imported from France. A white marble, widely used in decoration of the main fragments, raised in China. Arch of the main entrance is decorated with ornaments of silver and gold deposition. The mosque is a modern heating system with heated floors.
