If you plan to go to college, you need to begin learning how to find out the information you need. I can help, if you ask me!

  5. Page 5 PAY ATTENTION TO THE REGISTRATION DEADLINES FOR THE ACT!

  6. Page 7 Some colleges require you to write an essay. Read to understand about Early Decision and Early Action. The Common Market is tricky!

  7. Chapter 2 (page 13)

  8. Page 14 There is money available for college…BUT, You need to look for it or apply for it or something! NO ONE is going to ask YOU if you need money. We offer 2 FAFSA workshops at Scott. They are not well-attended. REMEMBER, if you BORROW it, you WILL have to pay it back!

  9. Page 22 It’s all right here. There are NO EXCUSES for not knowing what to do. If something does not make sense, ASK!!!!

  10. Page 32-32 Be Very Careful about Borrowing Money! Make sure your chosen career will earn enough to allow you to pay back the loan at a reasonable rate within a reasonable amount of time. Ya’ wanna new car sometime doncha’?

  11. Pages 36-37 This is what your college will send to you to let you know how much financial aid you can expect in order to attend their school. The higher the tuition, the more money you may get.

  12. So what does that all mean? It means that after all financial aid has been accounted for, you could possibly even go to a PRIVATE school for LESS money than you could attend a PUBLIC school!

Admissions/Application info Deadlines Tuition and Fees Here is a listing of all the Majors offered at the school on this page. Check your ILP to match College Majors to your Career Interests. (Yes, it tells you that on your ILP)
