  16. Contouring is used to: • Enhance facial features • Alter facial structure • Bring focus to certain features • Add definition • Balance/Correct With highlighting and contouring you may hear the terms: • ‘HIGHLIGHT: Advance and bring forward • ‘CONTOUR: Recede and shade

  17. Application of Contouring Products: • - outer edges of the face • - chin • - temples • - nose • - eyes Products: • - Powder – quite subtle as you can layer • - Cream • - Liquid – works well with full coverage • - Crème/Grease paint - can give stunning results for photographic purposes

  18. Sculpting Method 1. Shade one should match your skin exactly 2. Your HIGHLIGHT should be 1 - 2 shades lighter with same undertone 3. Your CONTOUR should be 1 - 2 shades darker with same undertone

  19. REMEMBER THAT YOUR CONTOUR DOESN’T STOP ON THE FACE; YOU NEED TO SCULPT & DEFINE THE BODY TOO!
