  3. Endnotes Endnotes are references located at the end of a research paper. Endnotes are gathered together at the end of a paper and are numbered following the numbering you use in the text. Numbered citations in the text that are keyed to citations placed at the end of the chapter, with complete bibliographic listings at the end of the text. Notes Citation

  4. Footnotes Footnotes are references listed at the bottom of a page in a research paper or book that document sources or provide additional information. (Font type) Numbered citations in the text that are keyed to citation notes placed at the bottom of the page with bibliographic listings at the end of the text. Notes Citation

  5. How to Cite Books In general, book citations should include the following information: Author, Title, edited by Editor, translated by Translator, Edition, Number of Volumes, Series (Place of Publication: Name of Publisher, Year of Publication): Page Numbers. اسم المؤلف بالترتيب الطبيعي، العنوان، إعداد اسم المعد، ترجمة اسم المترجم، الطبعة، رقمالمجلد، السلسلة (مكان النشر: الناشر، تاريخ النشر): رقم الصفحة أو الصفحات.   32. Shortened Citations The purpose is to reduce the bulk of documentation in scholarly works in case the reference is repeated. It consists of: The last name of the author and the full title, if 4 words or less. If more than 4 words it should be shortened.   35. Shortened Citations In the case of short form, if there are authors having the same family name in different references, full name or initials should be written.   36. Several Citations in One Note The number of note references in a paragraph can sometimes be reduced by grouping several citations in a single note. The citations are separated by semicolons and must appear in the same order as in the text. When the reference is repeated in the next paragraph, the following rules should be followed: When repeating the first reference, it should be shortened.(العنوان مختصرا) When repeating the second reference, it should be Ibid.(المرجع السابق) When repeating both, it should be Ibid, Ibid.(المرجعين السابقين) Notes Citation

  37. Comment In the case of Placing a Comment in the footnotes, there are two ways for its citation. • Placing the citation Before the comment. Examples: M.
