  1. CSENet Exchange Table Maintenance

  2. This table provides information regarding which states have agreed to exchange CSENET transactions with Kentucky and which specific transactions. This table is inquiry only and is updated when additional agreements are received and accepted. E-mails are provided to statewide staff when states and functions are added to the exchange table.

  3. This table lists all states, along with flags indicating whether the states are active on CSENet. The table also indicates which functional types (LO1, CSI, MSC, Etc.) are automated for each state. This table is inquiry only. It is updated as new states add functions to their CSENet. One of the following codes is inserted in each column of the table if an agreement is in place. The codes indicate which function types are automated in the specified state. S – Send Only R – Receive Only B – Send and Receive N – Neither

  4. Please see KASES Handbook Transmittal Letter dated 1/23/03. Next are screens on KASES from the Exchange table. If a transaction is sent to a state without an agreement, the system will give an error message. A IV-D number must be used in order to access the exchange table.

  5. The exchange table is located under 03 Case Management, 09 Interstate Actions, 04 CSENet Options There must be an IV-D number to access the exchange table.

  6. All that is needed On this screen is The two-letter state code. PF-9 to Confirm Or Enter

  7. The fields are populated With the code that Corresponds with the Transaction that KY has Available . For example, KY can Send or receive MSC Transactions with NC. This screen is updated As new agreements are Reached. This screen is Inquiry only.

  8. This completes the segment on the exchange table.
