GOW Alliance • Get online week Alliance is formed by our three main supporters: • Accenture • Liberty Global • Microsoft • Same level of financial investment: €30k • In-kind support offered to the campaign • Common PR and closer collaboration for improved outcomes of the campaign • Budget to be used for the grants scheme, promotion, and campaign management

  6. Policy support • Get online week 2013 is supporting the goals of the Digital Agenda for Europe • The campaign’s official launch will be organized in Brussels and EC will promote the event • Connection to the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs and Digital Champions

Mini-survey • Developed by Accenture on Azure (Microsoft cloud service) • Log-in to the admin site of the mini-survey available two weeks prior to the campaign (translation forms, reporting options available) • Web-banners will be provided two weeks prior to the campaign • Main goal is to measure campaign’s impact at European / national level • Content to include 4 demographics questions and one question on participant online behavior

Grants scheme • 20 grants available for national partners upon reaching the expected results in their countries • There’s a limit of one grant / country • Potential grantees are approved GOW national partners that are also formal members of Telecentre-Europe and that have paid their 2013 membership fee by 18 March • In the situation of more than 20 partners requesting a grant, Telecentre-Europe together with the Get online week Alliance will select the best 20 national partners / grantees, based on the grants criteria and the national reports.

  14. Grants value Partners can chose between two types of grants this year, based on their level of involvement and results achieved: » GRANT A – 3,000 EUR for partners that demonstrate the national impact of activities and PR, and reach targets accordingly » GRANT B – 1,500 EUR for partners that have a regional focus of activities and the impact of their activities and PR is limited The grant will be paid upon the completion of activities and submission of the national report, based on a sponsorship contract between Telecentre-Europe AISBL and the national partner.

Grants criteria • GRANT A – 3,000 EUR • » People reached or engaged • National partners are requested to register at least 3,000 participants • National partners are requested to run at least 1,000 Skillage tests (flexible) • » Build partnerships at national level with organizations, institutions, companies and media • » National campaign reports, to include: • Media coverage report with media clipping, publication evidences and audience size • At least 3 articles in written press / TV shows (with national coverage) • Social media: extensive use of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and blogs • Narrative report with supporting evidence: • At least 3 case studies / success stories • A selection of at least 10 photos from activities • At least 2 videos (with English language support) • » Web presence: • GOW banner / logo on partners’ websites

  16. Grants criteria • GRANT B – 1,500 EUR • » People reached or engaged • National partners are requested to register at least 1,500 participants • National partners are requested to run at least 500 Skillage tests (flexible) • » Build partnerships at national/regional with organizations, institutions, companies and media • » National campaign reports, to include: • Media coverage report with media clipping, publication evidences and audience size • At least 3 articles in written press / TV shows (with national / regional coverage) • Social media: extensive use of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and blogs • Narrative report with supporting evidence: • At least 2 case studies / success stories • A selection of at least 5 photos from activities • At least 1 video (with English language support) • » Web presence: • GOW banner / logo on partners’ websites

  17. Enroll for a grant Here’s what you have to do in order to enroll in the grants scheme » Review the responsibilities of the national partners / the grants criteria » Plan and run the activities at national level during the campaign » Prepare and submit a national report of activities in 10 days after the campaign (a report template will be provided by Telecentre-Europe) » Complete the sponsorship agreement that will be provided by Telecentre-Europe and send it at the same time with the report. Submit the report and the sponsorship agreement to gow@telecentre-europe.org » Following the above mentioned steps, Telecentre-Europe will approve the report, will sign the sponsorship contract, and will transfer the grant in a maximum of 10 days from the submission date.
