Research Results • Japanese-Chinese MT engine • Sentence-based translation • Basic dictionary: 60,000 words, Dictionary in electronic techniques: 40,000 words Dictionary in commercial area: 30,000 words • Plain text and HTML text • Translation speed: 3,000,000 Japanese characters/hour(PIII 600) • C++, windows DLLs, UNIX libraries

  6. Web browser with J-C translation • An IE style Web Browser(most of IE's functions are included). • Online Japanese-Chinese translation(Words and Pages).

  7. Japanese-Chinese translation supporting tool • Automatic J-C translation • Pre- and post- editing of Japanese and Chinese texts • Automatic phrase and sentence alignment between Japanese and Chinese. • Chinese-Japanese MT engine(prototype) • Dictionary: 5,000 words
