  2. Sport • The town's three most successful sport clubs and with highest attendance are HC Brezno, FC Brezno and Biathlon Club Brezno. Other less successful however still popular clubs are Volleyball club Brezno, Cycle club Brezno and Swimming club Brezno. • HC Brezno is representing town as part of the 1st senior league from 2009/10 year. Therefore Brezno town council made decision and reconstructed its indoor stadium in year 2009, added new seats and renamed stadium to Brezno Arena. Total capacity is 2500 seats

  3. Šport • Mestské tri najúspešnejšie športové kluby sú s najvyššou návštevnosť HC Brezno, FC Brezno a biatlone Club Brezno. Ostatné menej úspešné súvšak stále obľúbené kluby Volejbal Club Brezno, cyklus klubu Brezno a Plavecký klub Brezno.HC Brezno zastupuje mesto v rámci prvej ligy vedúce od školského roku 2009/10. Stavba krytého štadióna v roku 2009, pridané nové sedačky a premenovaný štadión na Brezno Arena. Celková kapacita je 2500 miest.

Vodné toky • Cez Brezno preteká rieka Hron, druhá najdlhšia rieka na Slovensku. • Pri Bujakove sa sprava vlieva Zúbra, ďalej opäť sprava Ježová a v Zadných HalnáchRohozná zľava a Vagnár sprava. • V Predných Halnách následne ústi pravostranný Drakšiar, v meste ľavostranné Brezenec a Drábsko a tiež pravostranné Lužné

  8. Geography • Brezno is located within the Horehronsképodoliebasin. Brezno lies between Low Tatras mountain range and the Slovak Ore Mountains. The river Hronflows through town. The city of BanskáBystricais approximately 45 km west. The local climate in the basin is rather cold, with an annual average of 6.6 °C and an annual precipitation of 700–750 mm.

  9. Poloha • Brezno sa nachádza v Horehronskom povodí. Brezno leží medzi Nízkymi Tatrami a pohorím Krušné hory Rieka Hron tečie cez mesto. Mesto Banská Bystrica je približne 45 km západne. Miestna klíma v povodí je pomerne chladná, s ročný priemerom 6,6 ° C a ročnými zrážkami 700-750 mm.
