  4. HR @ PANDEMIC STUDIOS • HR function at Pandemic Australia first had a presence in September 2005 • Previous to this, the studio relied on HR support from LA studio • HR Manager joined in January 2006 when studio was at a headcount of 37 • Studio is now at a headcount of 98

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Recruitment • Ongoing – always on the lookout for talent • Utilise global resources • Phone interviews or video conferences • Opportunity for candidate to check us out • Candidate assessment thru portfolios, reels and/or tests • Job offers may include assistance with work visa and relocation expenses

  7. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Employee Development • In a production setting, this is an ongoing challenge • Mentoring • Lab days • In house training – technical & soft skill • External providers

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Performance Assessment • Annual process with a mid-year check-in • Objectives set with employee and revisited throughout the year according to role • Job description forms benchmark for performance assessment • If employee is not meeting expectations, performance improvement plan established and monitored
