Existing NGO Partnerships • 2007 – Partnership with SDCF • Flextronics is partnering with Beijing Social Work Development Center for Facilitators (SDCF) to help migrants integrate into society, provide them with counseling and social support, and train them up to become social volunteers (so they can help other migrants). • In 2009, Flextronics and SDCF established the Zhuhai Center for Social Work Facilitators (ZCSWF) within the premises of Flextronics Zhuhai to promote social work and to support the developmental, social and emotional needs of migrant talents. • 2013 – Partnership with Hong Dan Dan • A well-known Beijing NGO dedicated to helping the visually-impaired lead a meaningful life • Hong Dan Dan’s founder is well known in China and has credibility with the UN. • Hong Dan Dan has helped create job opportunities for the disabled . • We are currently sponsoring a drama performance by the visually-impaired that will be staged across 5 major cities in China - Wuhan, Shenzhen, Changsha, Nanchang and Dongguan.
