Basics of Home Health Aide A Home Health Aide (HHA) gives the supportive care in the home that includes personal care like meal preparation, bathing, and few household responsibilities, monitor the condition of the patient and assist the patients with medication under the guidance of a Certified Nurse. The main purpose of these services is to assist an ill, injured, sick or elderly people.

  3. Duties of the Home Health Aide Observation and documentation of patient situation. Reading and recording the vital factors such as- temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration.
