  2. We avoid conventional media, Why? • Mostly, local media don’t have perspective. Media subordinated women in abortion issue. • Cut and Edit the most important messages. • We are not gramatically and ethically correct to send articles to newspaper/magazine. • We want international visibility!!

Facebook • 231 million population in Indonesia (BPS 2009). • Currently, there are 43.060.360Facebook users in the Indonesia, which makes it #3 in the ranking of all Facebook statistics by country. • Facebook penetration in Indonesia is17.72% compared to the country's population and 143.53% in relation to number of Internet users. The total number of FB users in Indonesia is reaching 43.060.360 and grew by more than 2.920.880 in the last 6 months. • Top 4 Fb User : America, India, Indonesia, Mexico (March 2012)

  5. AGE RATIO • Indonesia Facebook demographics is other social media statistics we monitor. The largest age group is currently 18 - 24 with total of 17 654 748 users, followed by the users in the age of 25 - 34.

  7. How information shared • Assumption : • Samsara facebook friends = 1557 • Samsara team using facebook = 5 • Estimation each team friends @ 500 friends = 5 x 500 = 2500 • 1 update status show up in 1557 + 2500 newsfeed = 4057 newsfeed/daily.

  8. Blogger • Why blogger? • #1 search engine – easy to track by google. • Free • unlimited data capacity • Interactive • Webmaster facilities, SEO, etc..

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Tips • Keywords. • Less flash, video and photos - If you in a country where internet connection is slow. • Links – get link to high ranking website/blogs • Connecting blog-facebook-twitter • Submit your blog to search engine • Register to google web master • Use google analytic blog ; Adding the tracking script • 3rd party applications ; Technorati, mybloglog, blogcatalog, etc. • Do not protect your content, let’s people copy your articles.
