  3. PUBLIC RELATIONS/SALESCreating Buzz – Building Business Invite/host national and international media, meeting planners and tour operators to experience the Sun Valley area. Already planned for 2010: North American Ski Journalists (April) Society of American Travel Writers (July) Expand pursuit of group meeting business. Use local residents & city officials to help attract and welcome meeting and group business. Partner with SV Resort to support group meeting bids Capture new scenic panoramic viral photography of the City of Sun Valley . Assist the City of Sun Valley with press relations efforts locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

MARKETING/PROMOTIONS/VISITOR SERVICESCreating & Promoting Reasons to Visit Focus on retaining and inviting new visitors to the City of Sun Valley by showcasing city assets, amenities, recreation, events. Work with Sustain Blaine to Leverage the Sun Valley Brand – build and strengthen tourism and related efforts Develop marketing campaign re: the “new’ Sun Valley Work cooperatively with the Sun Valley Resort, Elkhorn, other SV businesses, Idaho Tourism and other partners to promote events, activities, vacation packages in the city Website & Viral Marketing– continue to enhance 24/7 online presence(165,000 unique visits), e-marketing, new and innovative technology and engage local brand advocates Special Events – help build and market them aggressively: Industry Week (pre-Christmas); Sun Valley Nordic Festival (Jan); Crosstoberfest (Oct); others Conduct visitor research to more effectively define and target the Sun Valleycustomer Provide personal assistance to over 17,000 visitors annually via website, email, phone and walk-ins.

AIR SERVICE AND BOISE-SUN VALLEY GROUND TRANSPORTATIONImproving Access to Sun Valley • Support efforts to maintain air service and expand Boise-Sun bus/van shuttle as an important service for Sun Valley residents and visitors. SVKCVB will continue to perform administrative functions and involvement in Fly Sun Valley Alliance, the non-profit organization which is leading these efforts on behalf of the community.
