  5. Geographical Location SITUATED ON THE EASTERN SHORES OF THE BALTIC SEA AREA - 45,215 SQ KM BORDERS ON THE GULF OF FINLAND IN THE NORTH, ON RUSSIA IN THE EAST, ON LATVIA IN THE SOUTH, ON THE BALTIC SEA IN THE WEST THE DISTANCE FROM EAST TO WEST IS 350 KM., FROM NORTH TO SOUTH 240 KM

  12. CLIMATE The climate is marine and surprisinglymild, but not very stable, i.e. it`s very changeable. There are four seasons in Estonia, they are: spring summer autumn winter everyone`s good in its own way

  13. Spring: chilly at nights, warm in the daytime, trees and grass turning green, birds singing... Summer: sunny and warm, sometimes hot, thunderstorms; berries in forests & gardens... Autumn:rainy and muddy, getting colder and colder, dark, windy, mushrooms in forests ... Winter:cold, frosty & snowy, blizzards and snowdrifts Spring: a lot to do: digging, ploughing, planting and sowing the seeds in gardens and fields Summer: holiday time, going hiking, sunbathing, swimming, watering, weeding ,berrypicking Autumn:back to school, harvesting the crops in gardens and in the fields, mushrooming... Winter: skiing,skating, sledging, felling trees for firewood, spending time indoors ... What`s it like & what can we doin different seasons ?
