What does cloud mean to SBS? • Typically it’s been Backup, or adhoc online services • But Now.. • Cloud seems to be everywhere • What does it mean to SBS? • SBS Standard is traditionally focused on on-premise • Can I use the cloud – or am I locked into on-premise • SBS Essentials what does cross-premise really mean? • Does this mean I am cloud all the way?

What is Cloud Integration • 3 types of typical Cloud integration • Client/Cloud • Management fully in the cloud • Direct connection from client to cloud service • Client/Cloud/Local Admin • Management tools available on local system (Installed application) • Direct connection from client to cloud service • Client/Cloud/Server • Management integrated into server administration • Uses ADFS/SSO/DirSync for example • Extends local admin functionality to include cloud administration • Connection can be from client or server or both to cloud service
