  1. THE WATER Created By: Kali Levy Anisah Husman Kimberly Lee

  2. WATER Water is everywhere!!! In the sky, in the ground, and in our homes: we use it everyday. Imagine what will happen if our water gets too polluted. What will we drink, bath in, and brush our teeth with??? What about the animals? How will they also survive??

  3. MANATEE The manatee on average, is facing several large problems. They are losing their habitat by the seconds, due to coast line construction and the increase in boat traffic. Boat strikes are a big factor in everyday life for the manatee, and propellers do serious injury to them, even as far as amputating their tails and flippers. They die of these injuries!

  4. Sea Turtle

  5. Furthermore, An average American uses a hundred gallons each day. That means- is used in one year. At the rate we’re going, we should take this crisis more seriously. Because you never know one day you might wake up with no water to wash your hands or the dishes with.

  6. Whale Whales are polluted from contaminants that we dump in to the oceans and by the oil that cruise ships, submarines ect. are contributing. Whales also suffocate from plastic. Japan to Hawaii is home to an enormous floating plastic debris pile from basketballs, grocery bags to toys, some have been ground up floating in small confetti like particles.

  7. Sea Turtles Sea turtles inhabit the waters and utilize the nesting beaches of the U.S. Virgin Islands. These include the green, hawksbill, and leatherback sea turtles.  All three species are endangered globally.    Sea turtles were a popular food source, and the harvesting of both adult reproductive turtles and turtle eggs was primarily responsible for the local decline in sea turtle numbers.  People kill sea turtles for their meat, shells, jewelry, and other products.

  8. 5 ways to save water 1. Turn off water when you’re not using it. 2. Use a cup when you’re goggling after brushing your teeth. 3. Take shorter showers. 4. Check faucets and pipes for leaks. 5. Don’t run the hose while washing your car.
