AAFT Alumnus Pratham Jolly Receives Dadasaheb Phalke Award

New Delhi: Acclaimed Screenwriter, Pratham Jolly made a big splash when he recently received Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival 2015 Award for Best Screenplay in ‘Kya Dilli Kya Lahore’, film set in post- Independence period. Born and raised in Saket, Pratham studied Cinematography at Asian Academy of Film & Television. An avid traveler and writer, works of Aamir Khan have always inspired him.Worked as an assistant cameraman and still photographer in blockbuster films like Singh is King, Golmaal Returns and Hattrick, working under different directors has been a learning experience. “Film Schools provides life experience and also gives you the unique ability to learn and work in all of the different aspects of film making”, said Pratham Jolly.
