Also a synonym for a hangover. Goals –Final day to work with your groups. Debates tomorrow! Time your presentations. Homework – Practice saying your part for the team. Time yourself.

  2. Senior English 3/20/12 • Five minutes to prepare for your debate. Write 14 lines explaining your facts and arguments instead of just stating them. • How can you tell an English teacher has been using the computer? • Tacnuk – tactical nuclear weapon. Goals – Introduce week 26 vocabulary. Complete debates. Homework – none.

  3. Senior English 3/21/12 • Attitude check; write about how you are feeling today. • Why don’t blind people sky dive? • Absquatulate – to leave hurriedly and stealthily. Goals – Successfully complete the debates. Homework – Complete an original poem based upon today’s activities.

  4. Senior English 3/22/12 • What do you know about Hamlet? What do you think about watching a play by Shakespeare? Why? • What did the rug say to the floor? • Bicipital – having two heads. Goals – Introduce Hamlet. Discuss why you might like to watch it. Homework – None.

  5. Senior English 3/23/12 • Five minutes to study for vocabulary #26. • What is the difference between a dead dog in the road and a dead English teacher in the road? • Sciamachy – fighting an imaginary enemy; combat with shadow. Goals –Successfully complete vocabulary #26. Watch and discuss some themes in Hamlet that are current. Homework – None.
