Development Area • EAPN Fund Prize plus fundraising work • (row4rights, cycling challenge, individual donors, major donors) update and clarification on next steps from members • EUPSCI follow up and member engagement – this was already presented in the policy group • Projects: Minimum Income Network and Drivers of Health Inequalities • EAPN Mag on the advocacy role of NGOs and in fighting poverty

Development Area • For discussion: how can members lead more on the work of the Network and role of secretariat • What capacity building spaces do we have in 2012? • In what ways can direct participation of activists and people experiencing poverty in the work of EAPN – bureau proposal for Exco

General information • Update on last EXCO meeting (nov 2011) • Communications strategy’s goals and objectives– work done • Broad questions that fall outside the communications’ task force prerogatives • Timeline: • April EXCO: presentation of the work done; hopefully endorsement of the communications strategy • June GA: short update on actions and timeline • 30.03 – taskforce meeting to finalise the strategy; agree on a draft work plan • Sept: finalisation of communications work programme 2012-2014 • Oct: taskforce meeting on implementation of work programme

General information (following) • Communications: growing needs 1st EU Inclusion strategy policy group called for more action, more media attention, more campaigning work, more alliances • Communications strategy + work plan must reflect our needs • Decide together on the WHAT we do and HOW, with the RESOURCES we have (=>priorities!)

General information (following) • EXCO Subgroup on Communications • Responsible for implementation, follow-up and evaluation of the Communications strategy and work plan • Adapt strategy and work plan if needed • Coordinate actions if no specific task force on a particular topic, at internal and/or external level

  11. General information (following) • New structures: some immediate changes • Work plan will reflect some immediate changes asked for by members for better internal communications examples? Early for me to give them now but I guess it could be useful… • Website: • Migration of the website • Reflect changes of EAPN’s structures on the website • members’ room - parts of the external website, notably members’ pages • All changes on website done in March 2012 (after Feb EXCO and before 1st April, end of current website’s CMS)
