Background of Project • Located in North Campus of University at 200 Lee Entrance, Buffalo, NY 14228 • One of our group members has an experience of working at book store and based on information it does not have a proper database system that helps organized information • The plus point of this database that helps the university bookstore:* Organizes the book according to the Majors* Reports on which employee sold or rented which book*Contains data about late return penalties.*Students information about who rented which book accordingly*It also has a report letting you know which books are available for shippinh.

  4. Mission Statement • Provide database to University Bookstore • Planning on creating a database to reduce time consumption • Create a website for customer convenience • Prospect customers are the university student

  5. Identification of business value • Provide information regarding prices, availability in which store • Help in filtration of books according to their genre, course types, price range, used/new items • Employees can track the student names, mailing address, e-mail address

User interface design • The database easy user friendly. • When you open the database the Main Menu will pop up telling you everthing. • It will have buttons that will take you to reports and forms. • It also has a help information button where you can obtain what you can do if you are stuck with a problem. • There is an exit button which will help you close the whole database.

  9. Conclusion • Aframework for our database and be valuable for bookstores to have such information systems which will help them increase their store’s value. • Database that we created will affect positively to both customers and bookstore.
