  3. Goals • Enhance peer response • Foster a strong sense of community • Increase student engagement • Expand to all writing classes at OUC • Writing Center – student tutors • Offer to middle and high school teachers • Workshops and in-service

  4. Service-Learning Partnership • Middle childhood education majors • 7th grade language arts students • Mentor utilizing blogs for reflection • Helped prepare students for the 7th grade Ohio Literacy Text Standard Benchmarks • Expand further using editing tools in addition to blogs

  5. Greater flexibility to meet the demands and expectations of our “New Traditionals”

  6. Student Learning • Enhanced peer response: analyze, interpret and evaluate in a detailed, meaningful fashion • Use Web 2.0 tools in their own future classrooms

  7. Collaboration • Technology-Rich Campus Task Force • Library Staff – links and guidance to pertinent sites supporting course objectives and research needs • Writing Center tutors • Support research and writing needs: Fully integrate the research and writing processes
