Awareness of the territory LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of innovation Public Administration The Province of Livorno has led the partnership of projects such asEqual round I “Coast Revitalization” • Equal round II “La Costa della Conoscenza” (The knowledge based coast) • Protocol of Agreement between the 5 provinces for the implementation of measures to assist disadvantaged people in the labour market • Project “Costa Toscana per l’Inclusione” (Coast of Tuscany for Inclusion) to place disadvantaged people in the labor market through work experience Valori:valorize the differences with trainingpaths, job inclusion, work - LLP-LDV/TOI/08/IT/551

Awareness of the territory LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of innovation The enterprises The production reality has shown interest in the experimental measures for disadvantagedpeople • in sensibility to issues of disadvantage and diversity displayed by cathegory associations, public and private enterprises • in response that some production realities, especially cooperative enterprises, have given by adhering to the JFT path Valori:valorize the differences with trainingpaths, job inclusion, work - LLP-LDV/TOI/08/IT/551

Awareness of the territory LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of innovation In the project “Valori”: have joined the path for JFT all cooperative enterprises:- Cooplat (4 unit managers)- Coop Otto Marzo (5 unit managers and 1 area manager)- Coop Idea 87 (2 operators Administration / Human Resources Valori:valorize the differences with trainingpaths, job inclusion, work - LLP-LDV/TOI/08/IT/551

Livorno classroom group LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of innovation Job Facilitation Tutor trainees are 19, including: • 12 from private sector • 7 civil servants • 7 department/ area managers • 6 working units managers • 6 operators of HR area • 17 women / 2 men Valori:valorize the differences with trainingpaths, job inclusion, work - LLP-LDV/TOI/08/IT/551

Diversity: an extended concept LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of innovation Thanks to the contribution of private enterprises the concept of diversity in the workplace, has been extended from disability situations to: • situations related to personal distress (marital, family, health, etc..), including temporary • corporate crisis • difference in the management of schedules and working time • wider difficulties (communicative, relational, etc.) Valori:valorize the differences with trainingpaths, job inclusion, work - LLP-LDV/TOI/08/IT/551

Diversity Management: an instrument of change LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of innovation As part of the path for Job Facilitation Tutor (240 hours) the theoretical part of classroom and DL (40 hours) includes a module of Diversity Management (14 hours) • The module has been expanded to provide the responsible for HR with updated tools and facilitation techniques • DM module teaches to deal with situations of diversity and can serve in practice to work on the business climate • Besides the classroom lessons, moments of comparison with the company’s personnel are planned. JFT and the chances of system LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of innovation The presence in the JFT of operators of Public Services for the Employment allows: • To check the tools and themes so they can use them with extended numbers of users of the services • to qualify the public operators with updated techniques • to spread the model "JFT" in the territories covered by the project, in order to facilitate the drafting and implementation of the “Protocol of Agreement on the labor market" which is the end product of the project Valori:valorize the differences with trainingpaths, job inclusion, work - LLP-LDV/TOI/08/IT/551
