  1. ScanSafe Web Security for Public Wi-Fi Hotspots Bandwidth-based SKU’s

  2. Scope • Bandwidth-based pricing for public Wi-Fi hotspots in Q3Ironport Price Book • Pricing only for public Wi-Fi hotspots – e.g. Retail, Café, Airports etc. • Pricing tiered by venue types as follows: • Retail – e.g. Walmart, Best Buy, Costco • Café/Restaurants – Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts • Others – Hotels, Airports and any other venues. • Does not apply to regular enterprise/commercial customers – e.g. Guest Wi-Fi in a corporate HQ • Bundle price (with malware scanning) is only 20% more

  3. How it works – 3 steps to pick the right SKU • What • Where • How long What service is needed • Retail (e.g. Walmart, Target, Argos) • Café/Restaurant (e.g. Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts) • Others (e.g. Hotels, Airports) What is the venue What is the duration • 1 Year • 3 Years Note: The currency (USD, EURO, GBP) is based on where the Wi-Fi Hotspot service is located • Web filtering only • Web security bundle (web filtering + malware scanning)

  4. Details • Customer signs up for a certain bandwidth commit (e.g. 500 Mbps) • Based on the commit and the service required, determine the per Mbps price • Calculate total commit price • Price is quoted on per-term basis, for 12 or 36 months. No additional calculation needed to adjust for term • Use the admin fee to select the billing frequency (upfront, monthly, quarterly, annual) • If customer goes over the commit, they pay more • Service and support included in cost

  5. Enterprise Guest Wi-Fi • For corporate Guest Wi-Fi, regular pricing applies. Customer will have to estimate the number of users on the guest network and use per-user SKU’s • Bandwidth based SKU’s apply to public Wi-Fi hotspot pricing because • Global policy is applied across all locations • There is no granular policy creation ability • Limited data retention period (less than ScanSafe standard of 45 days) • Aggregate reporting on the online WIRe platform

  6. Decoding the SKU’s • Select the correct Wi-Fi SKU • Select the billing frequency (via the admin fee) • Select admin fee to set billing frequency: GWF= Guest Wi-Fi RWM= Retail Web + Malware Scanning R= Retail, C=Café, O=Others W= Web Filtering M= Malware Scanning WSVC-GWF-RWM-1Y-PR PR = Promotional 1Y = 1-Year Contract (12 months) 1Y = 1-Year (12 months) 3Y = 3-Year (36 months) U = Upfront M = Monthly Q = Quarterly A = Annual WSVC-ADMIN U Admin Fee = $0 always

  7. An Example • Consider a big-box retailer with 200 stores all in US • Signs up for 250 Mbps peak bandwidth commit • Needs web filtering only • 3 Year term • SKU: WSVC-GWF-RW-3Y-PR • (250Mbps)*($2844/Mbps) = $711000 • Uprfront Billing: WSVC-ADMIN-U
