  2. BNet • What is BNet?: • Health care plan for children with serious mental health or substance abuse needs. • Children enrolled in BNet will receive medical and behavioral health services.

  3. BNet • Suncoast Region BNet providers funded through CFBHN: • Baycare • Charlotte Behavioral • Coastal Behavioral • David Lawrence Center • Manatee Glens • MHC • PEMHS • S4K • Suncoast Centers

  4. BNet • Definition by CMS Children with serious mental health or substance abuse issues are those who need intense behavioral health planning and treatment services in order to reach and keep a healthy quality of life.

  5. BNet • Enrollment Process: PROVIDERS Outreach Community Relations CMS relationship development

  6. BNet • KID CARE APPLICATION QUALIFYING QUESTIONS. • “Does this child need to get special therapy, such as physical, occupational or speech therapy, or treatment or counseling for an emotional, developmental, or behavioral problem?”

  7. BNet • “Does this child need or use more medical care, mental health or education services than is usual for most children of the same age?”

  8. BNet • Process once a provider identifies a child in need of BNet services: • Screening • Application • Correspondence with Tallahassee CMS • Waiting period • Tallahassee feedback to the provider • Enrollment list

  9. BNet • Enrollment list: “E W” : Enrollment Waiting “ Y” : Clients approved and assigned to a provider.

  10. BNet • CFBHN Role: • Funding understanding • Program Management • Professional relation development • Training and guidance • Business confidence and trust development • Communication and support • Internal program awareness and communication.
