  2. Units of Study • Lifespan Development (5 weeks) • Intelligence, Testing & Personality (4 weeks) • Abnormal, Treatments & Social Behavior (5 weeks) • AP Review (1 week)

  3. Pacing and Homeplay the same

Testing is pretty similar, but . . . • Less frequent (only 3 for the semester), so each test covers more material • Multiple Choice will have an increasing percentage of 5 option questions • Each test will have 4 or 5 M.C. questions about first semester topics • M.C. will increase in number and as percentage of overall test grade (For AP, M.C. = 67%) • Essays will be increasingly graded more in AP style • 35 points possible, each bullet point worth 5 pts vs. • Each bullet point worth 1 point, multiply times whatever number to make question worth 35 points

  5. Quizzes are similar, but . . . • Less 11-question Multiple Choice quizzes • Intro slip • Exit slip • Each chapter, you must take and submit one of the Myers website quizzes

  6. The most frequently asked question: • If you take the AP Exam, do you have to take the final? • NO, but . . . • will be a practice AP Exam given over two class days that will be the final exam for this course. It will count for 50 points in the course and will be graded exactly like the AP Exam. • There will be graded assignments after the AP Exam.

  8. 1st Sem. Psychology Classes Rankings: 4thplace with a test average of 80% (79% on Sem. Exam) 6th hour 3rd place with a test average of 82.2% (83% on Sem. Exam) 7thhour 2nd place with a test average of 85.7% (83% on Sem. Exam) 2ndhour Finishing as the SMART class, with a test average of87.4% is 4thhour!! (83% on Sem. Exam)
