  3. Rube Goldberg Written Portion Introduction Includes: -Goal (what did the machine do?) -Size information -Understandable working functions (what simple machines did you use?)

  4. Rube Goldberg Written Portion Conclusions Includes: -Failures and successes during development and construction. -Discuss what you learned from your failures and successes during development. -Go in depth….no surface level conclusions!! An example of what NOT to do: “I learned how to build a Rube Goldberg machine.” Really?!? I had no idea!!

  5. Rube Goldberg Written Portion Step Descriptions Includes: -Complete numbered steps. -Detailed descriptions of each step. -Must be in order of operation. -No “how to” words…ex.: then, next etc.

  6. Rube Goldberg Written Portion Image/Diagram Includes: -Must have an appropriate title. -All steps must be labeled on the diagram itself. -Must be easy to read.
