  1. SWE 6763 Potential Areas for Project Assignment during second half. • Work “individually” on this project • Pick an area of “interest” from the following areas • Measurement Theory • (articles by authors such as Norm Fenton, Barbara Kitchenham, etc. --- deeper thoughts and math needed) • Software Product Attribute Metrics • Quality • Complexity (cohesion, coupling, modularity, volume, etc.) • Security • Usability • Reliability (*** deeper math needed) • Software Process Attribute Metrics • Quality • Productivity (page1 of 2) • Effectiveness

  2. Project Assignment (cont.) • Schedule and Due Dates: • A)April 1, 2013: Present : 1 “power-point” chart on the “area of interest” • B)April 10, 2013: List the articles “quickly reviewed” that are potentials for this assignment and give indication of which 1- 2 -3 are the most likely ones that you will use. • C)April 24, 2013: Work summarizing the 1-2 articles (-20% on late material) • A written text summary of 4-6 pages • A presentation in power point to “teach” the class • Students draw on presentation date • D)April 29, 2013: Make your class presentations • This assignment is worth – 55 points (part A – 5 points; B - 10 points; C- 30 points; D – 10 points) • *** make sure you formally include your references (the way the articles references other articles.) Late material will lose 20% of 55 points! Use School Library or Online Library: www.spsu.edu / library / libmenu.html select “reference database” Select ACM or IEEE look at proceedings or transactions, etc. (Page 2 of 2)
