  2. Welcome • Agenda Overview - statewide and regional. • Webcast will be posted on the CTC webcast page • If you have questions, email intern@ctc.ca.gov • There will be breaks when regions work together. Email your summaries of issues for responses in the afternoon.

  4. Funding Overview • Block Grants are for 5 years, beginning in 2008-09. • Funding level will stay the same as 2009-10 in 2010-11 and 2011-12. • If you have returned your Grant Acceptance Form, invoices are being processed. Second payments will be processed in March, 2011.

  5. Funding continued • If the funding is swept and the program does not continue, the Commission must be notified. • Expenditure Reports are helpful, but not required under the block grant.

  6. Statistical Reports Aggregate survey responses are posted on the Intern website. Agenda item was presented at the November 8, 2010 meeting with a general overview of the program.

  7. Statistics continued In 2009-2010 (Block Grant) 5,530 Participants entered in the participant database. $21.3 was allocated to the program Compared to 2007-2008 (Per Participant funding) 8,063 Participants $32.7 was budgeted for the program

  13. Regional Meeting Discussion What issues are you struggling with locally regarding budget? How might the Commission and/or the Intern Regional Director support you with these budget concerns?

  14. Regional Meeting Discussion 2 How are your Credential Analysts supporting your accreditation process? How do you support their understanding of the process? How are you communicating with HR directors regarding employment issues and the Intern Credential?
