  2. Scalars and Vectors Scalar Quantities – A quantity with magnitude but no direction Vector Quantity - A quantity with magnitude and direction ( can be represented on a diagram by an arrow ) mass , displacement, force, length, acceleration, speed, velocity, energy, momentum, time, temperature.
