  1. IYSS Youth Provision Open Access Open access Youth Support - 12 Youth Centres, DofE Award, 2 F/T YSW, 5 substantial YSW, 30 YAWs, 15 casual YAWs. Open Access Services – Improving Young peoples well being through programmes and Interventions with young people in youth centres. In addition we run a number of diversionary activities, particularly at peak times working closely with J.A.G, ASB Team and other partners and support the Risk taking road shows in schools.

  2. Target Youth Support Manager • - 7 F/T Targeted PAW, 1 substantial PAW. • Targeted Youth Support: • Risk taking behaviour road shows in schools and Youth centres • Youth Action Zones school holidays and priority areas. • Hotspot areas outreach and partnership approach. • Participation including Youth Assembly and Youth MP. • Wheeled sport activities • LDD Youth support sessions • Teen parents and L.A.C • Commission targeted youth support.

Youth Support Examples of smoking awareness • This is me toolkit used regularly in projects. • Risk taking behaviour Road show in schools • Involvement in No smoking day, stoptober and health events. • Youth projects provide and develop sessions based around smoking awareness • Information is provided in the projects on issues around substance misuse.

Evidence and Measuring impact – TYS and Open Access • Performance measures have developed beyond Reys & based on achieving • IYSS priorities driven by local need. • Session evaluation forms – for session and individual was based around the Framework for Outcomes for Young people. Staff produce a pack for each night with worksheets and young peoples comments. T.I.M and Gonna Risk it used in projects and provide information on issues that influence programmes and staff interventions. Annual Survey of young people Youth staff interventions recorded on eIYSS.
