The Trench Watch...Time. 11.16 am I look at the time on my newly acquired trench watch. While waiting, time is one thing we have to crave but time is one thing we do not give without time to think . How fast the hand moves around the face of time when you day dream, in a war trench.

  1. The Trench Watch...Time... 11.16 am I look at the time on my newly acquired trench watch. While waiting, time is one thing we have to crave but time is one thing we do not give without time to think . How fast the hand moves around the face of time when you day dream, in a war trench. I could stop the hand from moving, but will I stop my time? Time to be frightened, when you’re alone with hundreds of men, waiting! The last sound I will hear tells me I do not have much time, in one minute I will hear the shrill of a whistle that will say...It’s time. 11.20am On a puff of breath that will not be his time! “My time is up.” Terence James Potter
