  3. Self-efficacy • Your overall self-confidence will increase as you develop metacognitive skills.

  4. Self-efficacy can be a pivotal or important characteristic to have in your college career.

  5. Researchers have confirmed that students having high levels of self-efficacy perform better than students having low levels of self-efficacy.

  6. Self-talk is an intricate part of self-efficacy Self-talks are messages that we silently say to ourselves

  7. Researchers believe that self-talk occurs 23 hours per day. There is one hour during our deepest sleep cycle that self-talk does not occur.

  8. Researchers also believe that students can learn to have positive dialogue with themselves which promotes educational significance. You are what you think of the most!
