  2. Motorized bicycles are a recent trend these days. Owning these bikes is equal to owning a bike or a scooter that run on fuel. They have motors attached to them that either run on fuel or are electric. These offer you the best experience of both worlds. To own one of these you do require a driving license as these do run on fuel too. So the laws that apply to a scooter are applicable to this bicycle. What is a Motorized bicycle? A motorized bicycle is a bicycle that comes with an attached motor similar to that of a scooter. This motor or engine runs on both fuel and electric power. You can also find these bicycles with or without the assistance of pedals. Now, these do seem similar to an electric bike, but they have major differences. Electric bike vs Motorized bike: The main difference you can find is that you need a license to drive motorized bicycles but that not a necessity while riding an electric bike. Electric bikes run only on electric power, but motorized bikes can run on both electric power and fuel.

  3. Electric bikes are a subset of motorized bikes. They also differ on the maximum speed they run on. Reasons to buy a Motorized bike: ●It is faster than regular bikes. Riding a regular old bike during traffic can be nerve- wracking. After stopping a bike restarting, it takes time and during traffic that is not an option. These motorized bikes make your job easier, especially during traffic. ● It is a cheaper option. It is a great and inexpensive option as it is definitely at a lesser price than a car or a scooter. Owning a car these days is pretty expensive as you need to invest a lot of money into its repairs, services and petrol. Motorized bikes are a great alternative and cut down on these expenses. ●It is safer than a car. Cycling is a much safer and healthier alternative to driving. Many car accidents take place these days. People say a bike is not a safer option, but the stats are clear that lesser accidents take place while riding a bike.

In fact, one of the biggest selling points for motorized bicycles is their hill-climbing capabilities. ●Does not take much effort to run. The motor assist helps you run the bike when you feel tired. With these amazing benefits, motorized bicycle have become a must-have in the present times.
