  2. The Basics • Why would I want to make a Powerpoint ? • Because my handwriting is sloppy! • Because I can really show What I know! • Because I lose a lot of papers! • So I can be as cool as Mr. D.

  3. How Do I start? • Click on PROGRAMS • Click on MICROSOFT OFFICE • Click on POWERPOINT Voila—We can begin!

  4. Click on Slide Layout • Go up to FORMAT (if needed) • Play around—Pick a background and click on it. • Do you like It? Keep it! • Don’t like it; Change it!

  5. Let’s change design • Go up to FORMAT—Left click • Click Slide Design Pick a design you like, or hate, and then try a different one!

  6. Let’s change colors • Go up to FORMAT and left click. • Click on Font: Play with it. • Get a different color. • To apply you have to make a text box around the words you want. stevedore

  7. Let’s see What we’ve done so far. • Go up to slide show. Left click. • Click on VIEW SHOW. • Click your direction arrows to go through the show.

  8. Let’s insert a Picture • Click on Insert • Click on Picture • Click either CLIP ART or • FROM FILE • Click once on the picture • Click on INSERT • CLICK AND DRAG
